Decent simple Alarm system with monitoring

Hi
What is your opinion on a decent modern alarm system that is affordable and does not cost an eye every month for simple monitoring?
I have ADT and I am not happy and they are very expensive for what I get.
I only need 3 doors, 3 fire sensors and 2 broken glass.
If I can add a couple of cameras great but not my main concern.
I do not want voice activated bs or complex touch screen gizmos.

Simplisafe was top of my list a year back. Almost bought it but wife and I just ultimately didn't go with a system. I do have four--soon to be five exterior cameras, one of which captures license plates of all cars that come down my street. We have no crime around here worth mentioning, but I like my cameras. I use them regularly so that's probably why I've not bothered with an alarm--it's something you never really use, or at least hope you don't. That's by design but it's not a "fun" toy like cameras are.

To be honest the chances of break in are almost none but I like it mostly because of the smoke and fire alarm monitoring that will trigger automatic response too.

Layered defense. Simplisafe is a simple and reasonable entry level defense. Ring is probably a better perimeter defense, but i hate google, who owns them. Here’s a fairly in depth writeup by our very own @NYGuns

I have two big dogs.
I don't want microphones or cameras inside only outside.
Again, the main need is the smoke/fire monitoring and automatic alarm/response.

Whatever you get, make sure it has cellular communication. Too easy to kill your internet/phone.

I would not use any of the cloud based(nest, ring, etc) cameras.
