Democratic Party Bracing for a Clinton-Kennedy Face Off for NY Senate Seat

Democratic party supporters are already looking towards the 2020 election, hoping for a Senate "showdown" between the two former First Daughters Chelsea Clinton and Caroline Kennedy.

"And we're told that it’s more than just fantasy football for liberals who have nothing else to look forward to," the New York Daily News reported on Friday.

Should Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D., N.Y.) run for president in 2020, it's rumored that both Clinton and Kennedy would vie for the vacant Senate seat.

In 2015, Clinton told Sky News, "Absolutely, I'd consider it one day," when asked if she would run for office.

Clinton's recent Twitter battle with Kellyanne Conway, counselor to President Donald Trump, is helping her "engage in the political arena," an insider told the Daily News.

In what way is Chelsea qualified to be a senator?

Oh that's right she's not. But I guess with her mother being all washed up in politics and not being able to buy votes anymore, Chelsea is the next best thing to keep the money laundering in to the Clinton family.

NBC's hiring of Chelsea Clinton as a "special correspondent" in its news division was widely recognized as an exercise in corporate cynicism when it was announced in November 2011.

Now a price tag has been hung on that scandal, with Politico's reporting that Clinton has been paid a salary of $600,000. The network hasn't confirmed the figure, but it hasn't denied it either, and responded to Politico's questions by asserting that it "continues to enjoy a wonderful working relationship with Chelsea, and we are proud of her work."

from what little information is out there, I can assure you, Chelsea is literally brain dead. The Clintons keep her tucked away and out of the limelight. Probably to try and insulate the rest of the people from finding out just how stupid she is. She has never done anything outside of the Clinton Founda.....money laundering scheme. She has no clue where she is, let alone be in government

Let Gillibrand run. She will loose. We need to keep up the push though. The dems will come out strong in 2018 and 2020 in numbers. I think the people they will run will be weak, but we will see. I don't know what any of the three have in qualifications to run for office, but look at hillary's track record and they voted for her so why not right?
