The weapons charges, while legal because of the SAFE Act are still BS and unconstitutional as far as I'm concerned. The fake FBI badges are a little weird though.

I love this gem from the article though: "During the search of Downey’s home, investigators found more than a dozen firearms mounted on a wall in what agents called a “gun room” — including an illegally modified short-barrel rifle and a sawed-off shotgun, a criminal complaint shows."

Doesn't every self-respecting firearms owner have a "gun room?"

EDIT: I guess the reason they arrested him was because of a suppressor and not necessarily the rifles? Unclear whether they full featured semi-autos.
