I think if this lasts for 18 months it's because they want it to. In 18 months we may not have a country. How can the economy sustain this kind of crap for that long?
Didn't watch but it is being reported contingency plans stating crisis could come in waves and last 18 months or more. I said to my wife the other day based on response there is more to this than we are being told. See Fox article here:

This will not be eradicated from the planet in 18 months. When it is "controlled", it will be another flu strain. And it will come in waves as they tend to do.
Will we have 18 months of semi or complete lockdowns as we hunker down? I can't see how that's reasonable and it's not consistent with anything I've seen any expert say.
