GOP now turning against Trump cause of mistimed or not PC statement over Charlottesville insident.
It's just an excuse not to be productive or functional in congress. Watch - when congress returns after summer recess and they have to get working on list of issues (Tax reform, boarder security, Obamacare...ect). GOP will fail again. And they'll try to blame Trump. It's congress job to pass bills. It's Trump's job to sign them.

IT'S NOT THE PURPOSE OF THE FEDERAL GOVN'T TO MAKE A NATIONAL ISSUE OF EVERY LITTLE LOCAL INCIDENT !!!

The GOP was never with Trump, he isn't their candidate, they supported him because he was going to win and they knew it, but he's still an outsider!

He's not a politician, he's not from the party machine, he hasn't paid his dues, the media has never taken him seriously and they have a grudge/axe to bury since he embarrassed the shit out of them by actually doing the unthinkable and winning the election, up till the last polls started reporting they still though he could never win...

He taking hits from all sides... And doing pretty good weathering the storm so far. Only time will tell if he'll fold...

It's what WASN'T said that has them up in arms.
He didn't immediately and vehemently jump on the "white nationalists, supremacists, and KKK are all evil and must be denounced and labeled as terrorist for the good of all mankind" bandwagon.
Then, of course, he made the mistake of saying BOTH sides were at fault.

all of this, in their eyes, makes him a Nazi sympathizer, white supremacist, KKK member, and in general the absolute worst human being on the planet.

I can't even respond to these people anymore. Their hatred of Trump has become an irrational obsession. I will not be surprised to find out they blame him for stealing the sun and plunging the world into total darkness forever next week.

It was the presence of an equality of blame and fault between the two extremes in his statement that "caused" the shitstorm. Thus, as far as I know, there is no "other first" statement.

The leftists, and their fellow travelers (AKA RINOs), aren't interested in that, nor in the truth about what happened.

There is a lot of weird shit flying around the intetwebz right now purporting to be statements from a/some LE on scene that they were told to stand down. We will never know the truth of this. Won't give credence to this yet since the website referred to also had an article on "flying reptiles over Chicago". In retrospect, anything can happen in ChiRaq.

That being said, if such an order came down from the Mayor (a known Obola ass-licker) to LE, and LE obeyed the order, they all are at fault, and to blame, for what shakes out from this clusterfuck. Since some LE on sight most likely were Southerners, born and bred, and had family connections to the CSA and the War of Northern Aggression, they are participants in the murder of both US and their own history.

Dysfunctional Government
The govn't now is "controlled" by right leaning, conservative bias Congress and Senate w/ a "right leaning" president and Supreme Court.
Has this ever happen in the U.S. before? If so, what changes were made in the country?
As of now I don't think the conservatives or GOP will get much done before 2018 mid - term elections come. They will lose seats in 2018.
If that happens, it only proves that Dems and GOP are just opposites to the same coin. A coin made of BULLSHIT !!
