Today is election day, and there’s a lot of nervousness about the outcome. Relax, there’s more room for optimism if you dispatch the negativity. The media is “all in” for Hillary Clinton, and this comes as a surprise to who? Tune them out. All the variables that are non MSM related point toward a historic win for Donald Trump over the next 18 hours.


♦ We will post threads for ground reports in two hour increments beginning at 10:00am Eastern Time Zone. Share your experience within your own community. How is the turnout? Wait Times? Excitement or lack thereof at your polling station… etc.

It is critical that everyone vote. Remember, historically there are two metrices that drive media narratives in the post election discussion. Each of these metrices have a different impact on Washington DC:

• The first is the electoral college, the actual victory.
• The second is the scope of victory within the popular vote.

6 Am voting in IL Chicago collar county: Lines out the doors into parking lot. Voted here for 25 years never seen anything like it. MONSTER VOTE is coming.

Just voted. I live in a suburb of Rochester. I went at 10 AM to avoid the before work and lunchtime crowds. I miscalculated. The line was longer than I have seen for any election since I moved here 20 years ago. My district is typically republican/conservative but of course there are democrats within the population as well. Not sure how to interpret this. I am cautiously optimistic the strong turnout favors trump. However I know that no matter how strong the turnout is upstate the number of downstate voters (live, dead, or repeat) will most likely be greater. Still, it was an encouraging sign.

The guy that writes the Dilbert comic strip (Scott Adams) has been predicting a Trump win ever since the summer of 2015. He clearly predicted the primary victory before anyone else did. He has scaled back his original prediction of trump winning in a landslide and I believe he still predicts a trump victory but in a close election. My sense is if it is close then hillary wins due to all the illegal vote activity that is sure to be perpetrated by the democrats.

I went today to vote and the line was insane. All mostly woman voting and older people. I did not see anyone younger than 30. The woman in the station said "ok you take this paper and bubble in who you want for your choice like Democrat, then fill out the whole line straight down". I was like yeah sure.

My experience in Westchester today surprised me. Most of the older folks and anyone I met with a ballad in hand weren't afraid to show and say,
They were for Trump! It pays to be a gentleman and let all the seniors go before me. They were proud to share!

With our paper ballots slid into scanners, we wouldn't know.

But, some areas use electronic voting machines with touch screens. People who select the "Republican" line seem to be seeing their presidential selection come up as "Clinton." This is usually chalked up to the touch screens not being "calibrated" properly. I don't buy it.

I see, I'm not buying that crap either. It's not like they didn't know that the election was today and machines need to be right. I may have caused quite a scene if I had those types of voting machines.

Something I noticed today was they had a Sheriff deputy sitting in his car outside the door at the firehall where you enter to vote. My polling place is rural, Barker in Niagara county. Never seen one before when voting.

I see, I'm not buying that crap either. It's not like they didn't know that the election was today and machines need to be right. I may have caused quite a scene if I had those types of voting machines.

Neither am I - if I can enter my passwords easily and, barring my error, correctly on the dinky screen of my TracFone Galaxy Ace, any "mis-calibration" of a voting machine is intentional.
