False Narrative on Immigration

The latest False Narrative being spread is that we are all immigrants. The USA is a country of Immigrants. Funny how way back when matters except for the Second Amendment.

We may come from immigrant heritage. People came here for a variety of reasons. But they came legally, like a million do every year. More than all the other countries of the world combined. Not everyone who tried to come legally were admitted. Even today, it takes years of work and effort to comply with requirements, but they do it. And they love our country and they assimilate.

Our great grandfathers may have came from Germany but our fathers went back to Germany during WW Il to kill Germans. Our Grandmothers may have came from Italy but our father or grandfathers bombed both the Germans and Italians in WW ll. The family that immigrated came to assimilate and become Americans.
Are we a perfect Union? Not Hardly. Let the country that is without sin cast the first stone.

Actually the temporary delay of immigrants is authorized by the McCarran-Walter Act passed in the Truman administration. Carter used it against the Iranians during the embassy occupation to deny them entry to the US and to deport Iranians already here. The left is just full of hot air and @#&*.
