There’s a school of thought that says if you’re in doubt about what kind of ammo to buy, find out what you’re local police department carries and carry that. After all, they’ve supposedly already done the testing and everything. Plus, if a prosecutor ever tries to tell a jury that your ammo is too deadly for self-defense purposes, you’ve got the perfect counter to that.

What about when that school of though constantly get changed? 10 is good. No ten is bad. 18 is good. Too much record so 12 is okay. 12 is no longer okay. 15 is better. Last year's test is no longer good enough.

i do not care what the numbers are .. your client ( my threat ) was still attacking .. i'll pop another 20 if i have to .. i'm on defense ...

and i don't care what is the ammo .. untill there are laws on what hammers are allowed to be use and what ones are banned

holds up a .22LR .. this is deadly too .. if your lawyer doesn't do that you have a a bad one

they can't even up hold the laws on the books now .. you think they know ballistics lol ... ...

i'm questing the the original report .. use what they use for a defense .. really

Can anyone site an example where the power factor of a bullet was called into question? Aside from what may be illegal federally or in the state, the power of a bullet means nothing. If it did a lawyer could argue your 10 mm or .357 or shotgun slug was excessive when you could have used a .380.

FBI throwing Winchester a bone, which makes sense, If all government contracts went to Federal it would put all US ammo eggs in one basket which we know is never a good idea.
