I seem to have some feeding problems with my AR. Its a Stag lower with a CMMG parts kit and a Rock River Predator Pursuit 20" stainless upper. Judging from how often I shoot and how many rounds I shoot at the range, the rifle has about 4000 rounds through it. I was at Blue Mountain on Friday and it started to have issues after about 50 rounds. The round would not feed into the chamber after every shot. Even manually with the charging handle it would not feed. When it did feed, the round would get stuck at about 45 degrees and not go into the chamber. The bolt is clean and lubed, the feed ramps are clean and the barrel was cleaned about 300 rounds ago. I don't see any problems with the bolt face or extractor. The gas key is tight and the gas block it tight and has not moved. The barrel it also tight.
I tried three types of ammo and 3 different magazines and all would not feed, which all worked fine in my nephews AR who was with me. I thought it was a blockage in the gas tube but it will not feed manually either. Any ideas what else I cal look at to figure what the problem is?
