Fingerprints for Lic. Renewal

Got the renewal packet for Florida pistol Lic. Requires fingerprint and photo update.
I believe that I got my initial prints at a State police barracks. Can't recall the cost if there was in fact a charge at all.
Anyone have any other suggestions or experiences on where to get this done?

NYSP provides this as courtesies to fine upstanding citizens, lol. No cost I remember... Just be nice when requesting

Florida requires ink fingerprints to be done by a law enforcement agency. Many (most?) county agencies have gone to digital fingerprinting and no longer offer fingerprinting for civil purposes. Your best bet is to have it done at your closest SP barracks. There should be no cost for this service.

I used a pay service last December for my VA LTC cuz my local leo’s didn’t want me stopping by. Scared of Covid I guess.

Had my FL renewal permit done at the county building in Brooksville FL in 2019. The finger prints were done digitally.In and out in ten minutes.They took care of all paperwork,just signed my name and walked out. The folks there could not have been any nicer.

Thanks to all who replied. Lic. will expire before I get back to FL next December so looks like I will be calling the local SP Barracks.
