Though I did vote for both Republican Mitt Romney and Republican Charlie Baker for Governor.

And as bad as Governor Romney was in signing an AR Ban, Charlie Baker simply had his AG ban them without any legislation at all !

Then this month Baker banned Vaping by Declaration as well !

Despite his Democrat credentials, Governor Deval Patrick never threatened my 2A rights in Mass. He was no bargain, but kept a pretty low profile. Which is my idea of a "good" Democrat.

So, all things considered, a person could do a lot worse than Deval. I'd vote for him hands-down over RINO Romney or RINO Baker. Over RINO McCain, too.

And other than TULSI, I'd rather have him as the Dem Candidate.

Unless, of course, he begins yapping the Left-Wing idiocy that seems to be that party's de rigueur in 2019.

Deval, my advice ? Just shut up and smile.

At least judging by his history in Massachusetts, Deval is pretty damn moderate.

Unless he has changed quite a bit, I believe America would be survive (tho not thrive) in his hands.

I know, I know.

Standing up for Deval Patrick is certainly a change of pace for me.

But he's largely a pleasant guy.

Do a search for him: unlike Elijah Cummings, Maxine Waters, Kamala Harris, or even Barack Obama (other prominent black politicians), Deval is nearly always smiling and pleasant.

I cannot recall ever physically cringing when he spoke - and he spoke fairly rarely (good).

I even shook his hand at an event in Copley Square, Boston, while he was Governor (I did have to leave my cutlass at the door, tho).

He was very nice - if he gave a speech at all, it was so calm that I cannot recall a word of it.

All in all not a bad guy.

In fact, I can't see him "fitting in" at all with the FREAK SHOW that every Dem Front-Runner is (except for VA-VA-VOOM TULSI), of course).

Hard to believe now, I know.

But look at disgraceful RINOs we've been stuck with.

Romney, Bush, McCain - all far worse than JFK (I know I'm going back pretty far).

Anyhow, Deval is certain to come out with some stupid shit within 48 hours that will force me to regret every positive syllable I've written so far.

I'd love to see Deval become the Front Runner, if for no other reason than to piss off those other LOSERS.

And if Deval can keep Hillary or Michelle out of the race, I can rest a bit easier.
