As if it wasn't bad enough that Fox hired Donna Brazille, - hell, now they have appointed that lyin Ryan to their Board of Directors!

I despise that prick as he singlehandedly killed off National Reciprocity, and has stifled Trump's agenda when he was Speaker of the House.

Not gonna defend Ryan but the fact is the problem was as much of Mitch McConnell's covering for his deep state RINOs. Nothing got to the House floor under Ryan unless Mitch McConnell had the votes, 60 to get past Cloture or 50 for the exempt budget resolution stuff. Ryan allowed the House to provide cover for the Senate and their deep state RINOs. History already shows he was wrong to play the party politics Mitch's way and I believe it contributed much of the Blue Wave in the House and shielding Senate RINOs from voting against a conservative item probably did not save a Senate seat.

I'm going to disagree with you on National Reciprocity. Lyin Ryan kept it bottled up for the first two years of Trump's admin. When he finally consented to to letting it get voted on in the House, it passed, but by then there was no opportunity to push it in the Senate. It was after the 2018 elections, which meant that we had no push over those Democrats who were up against it in the 2018 election. Also, in those two years, there were of course those gun incidents that only made granting NR even tougher.

Ryan did his best to stop Trump's agenda, and has stabbed Trump in the back repeatedly in the press. Eff him!

I'm not a big fan of McConnell, but he has shown he's willing work to get the votes if it's going to be a worth while fight.

I know for a fact that he held up retropocity working with McConnell because of a lack of votes in the Senate. I personally talked to Ryan face to face about this twice in 2016 as well as with a couple members from two different Caucuses. He screwed up voluntarily but he was in cahoots with McConnell concerning Senate votes. It's a fact.

Brazile is on the Hannity program right now. Hannity is asking her questions in a thing called the lightning round.
Brazile is supposed to give quick and concise answers during the lightning round.
She can't do it, it can't be done while lying and spinning... She did not directly answer 1 of Hannity's questions.

Fox is toast. No great loss. I have favorite folks that I follow...but not slavishly. Lou Dobbs. I followed O'reilly for years and years. Bill Curtis, don't know why, but always thought he was a good newscaster. I though Bill Bennett had a pretty radio show on AM.

Yeah, Fox used to be THE go-to for news. Last couple of years I get up early, feed the cat, make coffee, sit with my laptop, and browse a dozen sites for news. Some blogs are worthwhile too.

Then the wife gets up and reality sets in....

I recently read some of the comments on a BB article, which I normally don't do. There was a lot of posts about BB removing posts that were not PC enough, etc. But they could be leftist agitators or bots.

I had heard that the company changed when Andrew died. It could be that they too are slowly descending towards the mainstream PC infotainment that all the rest are moving toward or are at already.

National retropocity would have passed in the House but would have failed in the Senate. McConnell did not have 60 votes for Cloture for retropocity and confirmed he would not Nuclear anything but Presidential nominations. Ryan would have had to have added it to the first Budget Resolution to have a chance in the Senate with 50 as opposed to 60 votes but he chose to go with the light Obama repeal and McCain kept McConnell from getting 50 there. We never had a chance because of the Senate ( too many dems block voting and a few zero balls RINOs) but Ryan should have passed retropocity in the House anyway. He cost us pro 2A seats in the House by his misinformed scheme to firewall a couple Senators in 2018 and a few of those were able to ride the Kavanaugh wave anyway.
