What I don't get, is in the resolution it says "unless specifically prohibited by statute". Well, S.51001 and A.41001 are statutes. The new law signed by Hochul, is a statute that specifically prohibits carry. So this resolution and all resolutions like it are pointless. Why did the county legislature put that in their resolution???

I also have questions. On the surface this seems like a PR stunt and not something that has the full force of law behind it. The state police operate in that county and report to the governor. Think they give a shit about a local resolution? Go ahead and be a test case.
