Certainly is unique. I can’t see much of a benefit to the consumer market but I do see it making sense for the military market as it was designed.

This is interesting. Especially if it can swap grip modules, slides and barrels like a P320. Could have a full size striker fired range gun that could change into a doa hammer fired subcompact carry gun

Agreed. I’m not sure there’s much of a civilian market but could sell some that way. It makes sense for the market they are doing it for though because you’ll have the same gun and same platform available to all and the individual or circumstance can dictate what gun they have or use while it all being the “same gun”. I posted it because it was near and something different from what I have seen ever.

Safety for carry. A long DOA hammer fired gun has an inherent measure of safety between trigger weight, length of trigger travel, and being able to put thumb on trigger when reholstering. It’s why I prefer my P2k for carry vs most of the striker fired carry guns on the market. It’s the same reason why I, like a lot of people like to also carry revolvers as well. I know quite a few people prefer to carry striker fired guns with short light triggers and no safety’s. Same reason that Glocks with striker control devices exist. Not everybody prefers to carry the same type of guns which is why the more choices there are the better. Having one gun that can be reconfigured depending on the users requirements is a benefit. That’s why so many people like the P320 and p365 series of guns.
