What a damned lie! I am not aware of any so called "ghost guns", - such as P80's and others that can bypass metal detectors. Sure, a printed or molded piece of plastic, or a P80 frame that has 0% metal in it could possibly go through them, but add the internal metal parts, the ammunition, and the required steel slide,... and the answer is a resounding NO! That is a fucking bold faced lie from Gillibrand and company designed to scare the ignorant masses.
As it is, every metal detector I have gone through in the last few years at courthouses, airports, and elsewhere, are set to trip if you have ANYTHING on your body: any cellphones, coins, folding money, steel toed shoes, metal belt buckles, wallets with plastic credit cards, watches, pens, and so on.
