I got into a conversation yesterday at work about this. When I stated that we, the taxpayers of America, should stop all this foreign aid; I was called anti Jewish and anti Israel.
I am not pro or anti. I just think we have some serious issues in the US that need to be fixed prior to giving our money to other nations.
If they, the Israelites or any other country cannot defend themselves, maybe they should not be a nation.
This equates to welfare, food stamps, free housing and free medical; it is all the same to me. Can't manage life on your own? Oh well. Sucks to be you.

I do support Israel. Israel however, is very capable of taking care of itself and we do really need to tend to our own garden first. Now more than ever.

Out government loves to throw taxpayer money around so that it can attach all sorts of strings.
I don't agree with it, but they do the same thing to most of the world that they do to the states here.
We pick their pockets with inflation and petro dollars, then we make them dance to get the money back.
