I enjoyed listening to that video clip.
I have a bit of news for us all here on this little forum; all of what he said, we, the members here, have said it all as well.
Many members here have stated the same points that he made. Wanna talk about some serious common sense? Americans should read some of the awesome things we say here each and every day!

The solutions are relatively easy to implement, just not politically correct.
Also, they do not involve throwing public money at the problem so Democrats aren't interested.

I do believe that nurture has an impact on a person (don't we all?) and therefore it's naive to pretend that exposing young minds to many years of violence via video games/movies will not influence them.

I loved the way he calmly and diplomatically told that woman to go fuck herself.
However....from what I have read one of the byproducts of increased porn is a reduced level of rape. Also, I am dubious of the idea that video games lead to violence. But his larger point is correct - there has been a change in the culture and no quick fix in the law will stop these nutjobs that go on killing sprees.

I do not think that the video games cause violence either. The Gov said, and I agree with him, video games as well as other items have desensitized Americans.

We had a school shooting the next county over a couple of years ago, 2 kids were killed, and almost 2 dozen more were injured. One of the kids who were shot (he survived), was the autistic son of a Friend of ours.
When the shooting happened, Governor Bevin immediately came down from Frankfort, and gave that little community the love it needed at that moment. He also stated that what happened was not the result of a gun problem, and that gun regulations wouldn't have stopped it. (SOURCE: West Kentucky Star - News )
Anyone want to bet on why the msm didn't give a bunch of coverage to this school shooting??

Perhaps, seeing as our Governor can only serve 2 terms, per the Kentucky Constitution.
