Win for the 10mm. Grizz taken down with only 2 shots, while charging inside of 10 yards. Id say it was a combination of skill and luck.
There would of been a well fed bear running around the woods with a 1911 on his hip. Total armed bear.Took 2 shots to stop the bear, eh?
Too bad he wasn't using a .45 Auto - 1 shot would've been plenty.
- Night sights are absolutely essential. I had 10 minutes of sheer terror at midnight when a pack of wolves tried to get at our packs (hanging from a tree). For those who have taken night shooting courses, like the MDTS one that I did twice, flashlight let's you see your target and night sights let you see if you are going to hit that target. (Yellow front, green rear.)
