Gun control rally in Albany today 2/14

At 11:30am today State Senators Zellnor Myrie, Brad Hoylman-Sigal, and Julia Salazar and Assemblyman Demond Meeks will join New Yorkers Against Gun Violence and other gun control advocates at a rally, Million Dollar Staircase, Third floor, state Capitol, Albany.

There's ALWAYS some sort of "Rally" at the Capital Buildings, usually means Jack Schitt...I'm not even sure the Legislators are even there in their Offices, but IF you really want to make a Statement and be heard without the knob-slobbing form letter reply, then VISIT their Office in person, be sure to sign the Log Book, and tell the screeners/secretaries that you'll gladly wait to meet with the Legislator in person, the other very effective measure is to find the Committee Chair for which ever cause you're concerned with as they make or break the proposed Legislation.
