As the title states, anyone ever use a Gunskin. I am thinking about wrapping an AR and a Pistol.
I wrapped my shotgun with Realtree Max5 Camo for waterfowl season. It turned out fairly mint. Only issue I have is where the cuts meet, they tend to peel up a little bit. Though they do press right back down. If you take your time, follow the instructions it will come out nice.
I go through phases in life,,,sometimes I take my time and do a fabulous job and other times I rush and still do a good job but not a perfect job.
I rush because I like to knock shit out,,,get her done and go on to the next job
Just take your time and do it perfectly!!!
Look at reviews on the skin you plan on purchasing,,,dont think there all good as one another
I looked at the shit on amazon and looked at the reviews.
You have probably seen this site,,,,many different options

I agree,,,very durable. Good way to keep a gun mint if out hunting with itWrapped a kydex holster. Very durable for what it is.

Something to think about.
On a AR I dont think I would do the grip, stock or obviously not the barrel. Just the upper and lower receiver and the handguard.
Handguard would take sometime using an x-acto knife
Yes, I did but it's not a slug barrelCan you wrap the barrel of a shotgun?
I really hate the cheap bluing on my Mossy 500. Its a utility shotgun and I dont like the constant matainence.
Ive looked at different coatings but too expensive....I dont want to pay more than the gun cost.
Pics PICS PICS!! when you do it, Ive got a gun or two that I'd like to do. Are you still thinking about doing a handgun? I don't think it would hold up well (my .02) I've done some with Dura coat and had good results.I just ordered the Zombie Green for my last AR build. Hopefully get time this weekend to do the install.

I wonder if spraying a clearcoat on it will make it more durable?
