Had one of their 4x ACCS Reticle Prism Scopes on my 300BO pistol for a coupke of years. Not many shots through it. I noticed that there were specks on the inside glass and the etched reticle lines in some locations distorted. I sent P.A. some pictures and they said it was out of warranty but will try for no charge if I send it in. A couple of days later they emailed me that they can't fix mine but the CEO would like to give me a replacement which happens to be the newer 3X version with a updated reticle type that is much more user friendly. Great customer service and product support imo. All in all 1 week turnaround.

How are their optics compared to something like Vortex?

I was looking at a few of their optics before I bought a Holosun and the reviews were really good. There are several abuse videos on YT and they stand up very well. It turns out their optics are made by Holosun. I bought the Holosun only because it had the reticle I wanted, otherwise I would have bought a Primary Arms branded dot.

PA are good optics. A few friends abuse them in 3 gun matches. They hold up well.

Expect? Out of warranty, not fixed but replaced with an upgraded model? Those are lofty expectations my friend. More like kudos to the CEO for going over and above.....IMO, YMMV

I've run this on my .300 win mag for a few years with 0 problems, tracks well, takes abuse great price. I'll happily buy their products again.

I've had similar customer service from them. Years ago, the dial on the red dot I bought from them broke off after I had dropped it. I told them it was totally my fault and had emailed them to see if there was a way for me to fix it myself other than glue. They got back to me asking me to send it in so they could have a look. They frigging straight up sent me a new one! I am pretty sure I was out of warranty but even if I still had a warranty on it, the damage was my fault. Very good CS if you ask me. I wouldn't hesitate buy from them.
