While at my local FFL today he breaks out this odd yet cool looking revolver he picked up from an estate. Shoots 38S&W and looks like a Webley (top break) but has only a few markings other than the serial number. As you can see it's a bit pimped out- has a brass front sight, brass trigger and hammer and a brass plated cylinder which is beginning to flake in a few places. Grips are a bit rough looking - handmade?
The cylinder has the following stamped on it: S.P.T. 41 and there appears to be proof marks near the chambers as well. Apologies for the poor quality of the pics but only so much I could do with an iPhone.
Any ideas what this is?
