Now I want oneVery cool. Not really the same in form, but I'll toss this guy in a lunchbox. A little Kabar "tactical" spork with a knife that clicks into the handle.

I remember we, well my father, had that type of mess kit when I was a kid. I have no idea what happened to it but wish I did.
Just stop into Any walmart and go over to the camping section. They have a couple of different options for sporks or Hobo knives.Gol-Dingut! For the second night in a row I forgot to pack a spoon for my pudding cup! I absolutely will, when I go grocery shopping at Walmart this morning, go over to the camping section and purchase a hobo knife to keep in my truck. My big truck, the work truck as in 18 wheeler. Anything that has less than 10 wheels is not a truck; that is a car. This is something I have been trying to impress upon my brother. I'll talk about "My Truck" and he thinks I mean my little F150 when I am talking about the Freightshaker. An F150 has 4 wheels and is thus a car.
That reminds me of how we used to hear MREs in the exhaust pipe of out HEMTTs. The outlet tip had a 90 bend, facing up, just before where it terminated and MRE pouches would sit in the pipe. When they'd been in there long enough you choose the go pedal and out they'd pop.I got one of these last year... it's called a MuffPot.
You attach it to a muffler/exhaust and it heats the food as you run the machine.
It actually works and I've used my hobo knife set to eat the contents.

Speaking of entrenching tools. As a primitive hunter and camper I’ve been carrying one like this in my Truck ( car) for 35+ years.Well this was a short lived thread. Nevertheless I thank @S&W Fan for bringing it up as it motivated me to get my own hobo knife and I have found it extremely useful these last few months.
In fact I would add it ti the list of essential items for a trucker to keep in the truck.
I would also suggest that keeping an entrenching tool in your vehicle can be equally useful in the winter months, as I reaffirmed a few weeks ago. Much better than paddling snow from under your vehicle with your hands.
I like the Glock E-Tool as it is inexpensive and has a telescopic handle that is longer than most.
