That was an interesting article.

As usual, NYC, Albany, Syracuse, Buffalo, and Rochester won Hochul the election. The 2022 gubernatorial election results map shows little bits of blue (Hochul) in a big sea of red (Zeldon.) And that is frustrating.



There really should be Electoral College type voting in the states too. Those of us living outside the big cities do not have a say as to who governs NYS.

But while I'm here I also want to take the opportunity to say Hochul the Horrible has a head that is too big for her body.

Closest you’re gonna get to that are some trailer parks in Westhampton/Hampton Bays (aka the poor Hamptons). Southampton had undeveloped land in town at $25 million/acre not so very long ago.

The people who buy property in Southampton, Bridgehampton, and Easthampton are the people who buy politicians and do as they please. They’re the kind who buy the adjoining properties to theirs without thought of cost, just to increase the distance from their neighbors. And, they’re the kind who have enough pull to get the Army Corp of Engineers to drain Georgica Pond down when a President of the US comes to dinner, to make sure no unseen approach from water is possible.

Projects? Not likely.
