Holosun - Any Comments?

Does anyone know anything about Holosun sights? They look like aimpoint/trijicon knockoffs for way less money. Are they worth it for knockabout guns? Any good?

I have two HS503GU and like them a bunch. I like the reticle. I like the fact it has a battery life of two years when left on. And I like the motion based activation. I’ve had acogs, eotechs trijicon reflex and a few others and for the price I really like the holosun I have.

I have had a tru glo and a primary arms advance. Both are the same thing.

I have a Romeo 5 and really like it. Didn’t know they were made by Holosun. It certainly lessens any reservations I had about them.

I have the 503G, really like it. There are plenty of abusive tests of the different Holosun sights and they survive well.

My brother use them, he recommended I get a couple. I may do that one day.

I use the Primary Arms advanced micro dot made my them. Other than a very slightly lower quality glass, it's no different than the Aimpoint Micro I used to have. It's just as rugged and also has a five-year battery.

I second that. I’ve seen what gun Jesus and Karl have put theirs through and I think they appear to be worth the money

Appreciate it. We have test quite a few of their optics and Im testing their IR lasers right now. I can guarantee you that Holosun optics are made of higher quality metals than most optics on the market. I would straight up take my 503g overseas on rotation if i could.

I own a Holosun range finder seems ok would prefer a luopold but for the money seems ok for some unknown reason it wouldn't register a light house over water that was only 250 yards away my brothers leuopold would.

The astigmatism thing is huge. I absolutely detested Eotech because of how crappy the image was without my glasses, which made it useless to me for HD.

Have a hs503c and it works as described, and seems decent. I havent beat the hell out of it but all the reviews say good things.
