I just purchased CCW Safe after comparing many of them. They are owned by attorney's and ex-homicide detectives. Very good coverage and priced very reasonably. I had a nice call with Stan, one of the main guy's and an ex detective. Check them out. You are being redirected...The article makes an extremely good point. Anyone have any of these self defense legal insurance plans, like the NRA offers? They worth it or are they a scam?
Definitely get in touch with them. They offer discount plans for military and LEO so I would imagine you aren't the only one in that situation. Again, I spoke to Stan who is the COO and ex-LE. Seemed like a real good guy.@Dr. Evil I wonder if CCW Safe would cover me. We don't have permits. I just read up on their plans and the specifically mention having a permit multiple times as a prerequisite to all of their coverages. I might call them for clarification on this. I've been toying with the idea of private coverage for some time now so I can comfortably start carrying firearms that aren't authorized by my department, and also for when traveling.
A friend of mine recently retired and is kicking himself for not getting his permit while on the job. Now he's waiting his year and a half without being able to carry.I did check them out, thank you. I liked what I saw too.
@Airborneguy I read that active LEO does not need a permit. Why don't they paperwhip you a permit anyway?
