I'm putting together a binder that will have household information on handling emergencies along with containing contact information for pediatricians, insurance, etc. The list I have for household emergencies include- power loss, water, fire, medical, and flooding along with how to reprime and start the well pump (it can be finicky) and starting the generator if needed. I'm going to have this information in a three ring binder that is in a easily located spot. Anything else I should be adding to the list?

Don't overlook the obvious. Bumswipes, everything in life is easier if you're touchhole doesn't itch. And don't forget to have an up dated first aid kit on hand.

If i remember correctly there is a section of FEMAs website dedicated to this. It had all sorts of good ideas about making copies of important docs and emergency contact lists, right along the lines of what it sounds like you're shooting for
I have two kids under 6. Usually have a case of wipes on hand at all times as well as in each vehicle. Medical/ first aid stuff is also covered well at. My idea for the book is more of a what to do if there is an issue like power outage or the well goes out rather than a what preps are in the house. Although I am working on that as well.
I've been trolling around on FEMAS site. I have a weird feeling about them. Kinda like the NRA. Get the feeling that they aren't really our friend, but have good resources.

List all insurance policies and bills that our wife or kids will have to deal with if you are not available. State where important papers are as well as emergency cash. Name of broker, attorney banker etc. Who to notify to erase your browser history and emails if something were to happen to you <s>.
Make sure all pages are in plastic sleeves to be waterproof. Also, not part of the book but, have meeting location if you can't get to your house. 1 if your house is destroyed, this can be local. And, one somewhere in between your house and where you work so you can meet in the middle before a bug out.

We have a separate three ring binder that has all the major documentation for the family. Insurance policies, vehicle titles, birth/death certificates, etc.
A meeting place separate from the home is a good one. Will discuss location with the spousal unit and add that into the plan.

Somewhat in the same vein I have a single sheet that I update from time to time that lists our bank accounts in them, so that if I am ever hit by a bus my wife will at least have an idea about where to go re. finances, since I handle them all.
Have a written plan where if you can't communicate with your spouse what each of you will do, who gets the kids and an alternate point to meet if you can't get home. Make copies to keep in your car and wife's car. There are emergencies that can happen where you may not be able to communicate. Thinking it through ahead of time would save a lot of stress.
Depending on the crisis, immediately plug up and fill the bath tub and fill as many water containers as you have available. Get as much water as you can while you still have pressure.

Routes for getting home from work, school, etc. Primary, alternate, etc. along with where you might stop if you need to hole up.
@Drinkthekoolaid very good idea with the plan for an alternate meeting spot. That will be implemented and a copy put into a seperate folder for external disasters. Due to our well weluation, we have holding tanks in the basement for water. If we ever do get municipal water, I plan on making a way to fill the tanks so that there would be easily accessible water.
@Curmudgeon We know alternate routes, but it would be good to get them on paper and into the vehicles. I also like to keep a paper map in the vehicles as well.

I was thinking more along the lines of the folks at home knowing where you might be in the event you have to hoof it home, or it takes you an extra day to get there.

But it's good to be prepared if that is something you have to do. Look up get home bags. I keep a bag in the car. Its especially good in the winter in the event my car ge5s stranded since I live in the lake Erie snow lake effect snow belt area. Being stranded is very possible.
I work 20 miles from home. I keep enough supplies in my car that if I ever have to walk home anywhere within 40 miles (typically my normal daily range) I would be able to walk home any time. If I am farther than this I bring a larger better equipped bag with me.
Without even talking about scenarios like terrorist nuclear bombs, electronic grid hacking, EMP/CME or bio virus attacks.... There are examples we can all relate to .
Look back at 9/11 if you recall immediately following the attack no one could make phone calls because everyone in the country was at the same time. Everyone probably remembers hearing " please try your call again, all circuits are busy" if you were traveling then all air travel was immediately grounded for days.
Then there are weather events, hurricanes, storm sandy, blizzards, ice storms, etc..
