How long for a Dutchess County amendment?

I sent in my amendment form and $13 check for a new pistol two weeks ago and haven’t received my revised pistol permit as of today. Check was cashed last Monday. For those of you who have received your revised permit recently in Dutchess, how long was your wait? Thank you

My revised permit is arriving in today’s mail. So my new amendment took 2 weeks to receive. Thank you Dutchess County Sheriff’s office.

They seem to be turning them around in +/- 2 weeks.... Mine usually come a week after the check is cashed. You can save a day or two by dropping the forms off at the sheriff's office. There's a drop box conveniently located just inside the first set of doors.

I received mine in 2 weeks, that was in July. You should call the Sheriff‘s office and ask about your amendment status.

I called at the 3 week mark and they said 1 - 2 more weeks. Just wondering if anyone heard why they taking so long. Everything I hear and read says dutchess is one of fastest turn around counties

Up until July, they were turning amendments around in two weeks. For some reason, they are now taking 4-6 weeks. Not sure if its due to staffing at Sheriff's dept or Judges on vacation, or a combination of both.
