That is a key question. My sense all along has been the people behind the caravan cynically want some of these people to get shot. The press and the democrats (I repeat myself) will make this the #1 story for weeks and will look to weaken support for the wall or other border security measures based on sympathy for the poor deceased invaders.
Lyndon Johnson famously ordered the national guard not to be issued ammunition when they went into cities during the race riots of the 1960's. The last thing he wanted were pictures or videos of black people getting shot.

They'll keep them from entering the country. I doubt the military would have to shoot to keep the migrants out. Plenty of non-lethal ways to fuck someone's day up. It will be top news during the election blah blah blah, Trump will hold the line, Repubs will hold both houses. After that, if the migrants still persist...They get dealt with for real, and that also doesn't have to mean shooting them.

These Caravans of filthy, diseased vermin is awesome right now. This will in FACT help the GOP next month. More and more Americans are becoming very tired of the illegal invasion of these people. Most Americans fully support legal immigration, they hate this shit.
