I do all 3. I do shooting at the station, prone (I just put in new outdoor carpet, too!), and seated off the bipod. Actually, I have shot standing but I prefer to NEVER have to take a shot that way.

Sort of. You put the weapon in the cradle, then while looking through the scope you adjust the front and rear turns to get your sight picture how you like it. But you hold the weapon the same way you would seated with bipod. This 100% removes recoil and makes your shot an order of magnitude more accurate. But the weapon can move in the cradle so you are still holding it the same (basically). But let's say you are doing 1" groups with bipod; you will cut that to a half inch with this cradle. So 50% better groupings (or thereabouts).

I'm in a weird retirement limbo. If you ask my wife she tells you I am retired. You ask me, and I say I still work. I have a few teleconferences during the day where I have to advise my teams (private tenant cloud data center teams) and I check my emails about every 15 minutes from 9AM to midnight, but other than that my days are totally wide open. And I block off 3 hours every other day to go down back to the range so nobody schedules meetings when I want to shoot or ride my ATVs. I am on call to go to some of our major accounts when asked, but haven't seen a plane in 2 years. I won't do the full retirement and sell all my company stock and go onto Tricare for 6 years, 4 months, and 4 weeks. Then I will be truly 100% retired and living off pensions, social security, and annuity income.

I realized after reading your post, that I'm gonna be unavailable for shooting for a little while longer while I try to compile a respectable list that's maybe half as impressive as yours. I appreciate your concern though.

I would never ridicule anyone here. And honestly if I could do it over I wouldn't have worked so hard and enjoyed life more. I missed the whole thing by doing 80+ hours a week from 21 to 52. I blew it. And for what - a shit ton of toys? Suddenly at 55 you get wisdom and realize "oh fuck I blew it".
