Just keep in mind that "The People" really don't elect the President, it's the Electoral College Delegates; now those delegates are supposed to base their vote (and in some States it is a requirement) on popular vote. I don't know the logistics of our Polling places, but I think a presence there might hedge the cheating, or incite a protest when they try to obscure their actions.
