I love lay-away.

I picked up an older Remington 700 in 22-250 off of lay-away a couple of weeks ago.
Afterwards I went looking for another gun to put on lay-away. The only tho g I seen that appealed to me was a Thompson Center Encore with eight barrels, two of the barrels have scopes monted.
BUT it was too much money. $1,899.00.

I went back there yesterday and got it for $1,499 with 10% down and one year to pay it off.

All the barrels are 15", four are blue, four are stainless.
17hmr, 204 ruger, 7mm 08, 270 win, 30/06, 375JDJ, 45/70, and 338 Win Mag.

Just the barrels were worth the price of the complete package. In the mean time before I pick the gun up I will grab extra barrels I want for it.

I'm happier then a pig in shit.
I have a g
Couple of guns that I want to dispose of, when I sell them I will use that money towards the Encore.

Dont get it.......I must of missed something.... What did I miss??? What does SBR laws have to do with shit length barrels? 15" barrels threaded can be easily made 16" which is still shit for 204. Didn't see anything mentioned about SBR in his post.

NVM. Just saying. I'm thinking some misinformation. FFL can't sell a gun with a 15 in barrel, that would be considered an sbr legally. Doesn't matter what can be done to it. That is the configuration it sits in.
