Ideal Conceal phone gun?

I remember this when it was a concept and wasn't sure about it. I'm still not sure about them, but they are apparently shipping preorders now and will be available for purchase soon. I like the idea of having a gun the doesn't immediately register as a gun to people around you. I don't like how it's only 2 rounds and seemingly doesn't have ejectors to clear the chambers for fast follow up reloads. It also seems like it could be cumbersome to unfold for use in a bad situation. I guess that is just where the training comes in.

This is no doubt very innovative and cool but I think the trade off of weapon manipulation for concealment maybe to high. Seems like the added time to unfold would be detrimental in any dire situation. I’d feel a lot better sticking with a G43 or G42 but I guess with enough practice and technique it could be just as efficient as a classic carry gun.

Me as well. It's only two rounds and it doesn't seem to have ejectors or even extractors to help with reloading. If you look at the range video, when they actually do show it) he has to dig to get the spent casings out.

Total novelty when a gun like a G43 or S&W Shield ect. can be easily carried and effectively concealed. Even something as diminutive as a Seecamp has a substantial advantage over this thing.

The advantage to this is to the casual observer it is just a phone, it can be left in the open on a desk and not raise eyebrows.

Why would you want to leave any firearm out in the open at all? Disguised or not it seems like a retention liability to me. And I don't think its particularly convincing. Even if people don't know its a gun those two big, shiny holes in the side will draw attention. And another thing, how long would it take to unfold and deploy the thing? Imagine if you have to fish it out of your pocket first. Thing is a novelty pure and simple.
And that's fine, no one cans say to not like a novelty item fornthe simple coolness of it however I think it would be a big mistake to trust your life to one of these.
