Interesting knife

I remember when I was about 12 going to a gun show with my dad and he bought me this knife. I know nothing about it other than the guy at the gun show told me it was polish and from WWII. I have always thought it was beautiful and one of my favorite knives. Maybe you guys could help. Unfortunately there is not one single marking on it at all. The handle is beautiful carved wood.
Any help would be appreciated.

Blade is nice and sharp

Me too I just can't find anything out about it at all. I've searched the web too. Maybe I should try a knife forums.

No doubt a skilled wood turner -- A skilled knifemaker, - not so much. A round handle is absolutely wrong on any knife. A round handle can serve for an ice pick - but not a knife. It lacks the ability to index to your hand, 'indexing' meaning you know where the blade is by just your hand the grip. All knives and swords have generally oblong or rectangular shaped grips, so you know which way the blade is oriented without having to look at the knife.
