It's a damn shame, but many people will likely never change. I have some Jewish friends who are, like so many of their friends, politically liberal Democrats, who are extremely anti gun, and anti 2A. They won't listen to reason when it comes to firearms and defending oneself.
They are so very anti gun, and yet they readily admit that, yes, they know they would likely get killed in a mass shooter situation as they would be unarmed and unable to even try to defend themselves. Better that than to own and carry some dangerous firearm.
That logic is just beyond me. But hey, I'm not going to force someone else to carry, - just don't mess with my 2A right to protect myself.
It really makes you wonder what their final thoughts are as they face their imminent deaths at the hands of some crazed individual. Looking down the barrel; getting shot; and bleeding out...
Apparently, the SOB was captured alive. Maybe they can figure out his twisted motive, and then they should smoke his ass rather than paying $50K+ / year to keep him in prison.

There is no "logic" involved. Jewish history is replete with pogroms and genocide, repeatedly. Yet, most Jews (and I have known many, including a number who were in the Nazi camps) ignore the lessons of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, the Bielski Partisans and even something as old, and as revered in Judaism, as the Siege of Masada. There seems to be a strong sense of fatalism involved, and I don't understand it.

I just said it this week. It’s two weeks to go when’s the next mass shooting going to happen. It’s crazy that 2 weeks before the election we have had 3 crazy conservatives doing 3 crazy things. Doesn’t make sense to me.

It might not be that these shootings happen any less, but that the liberal media merely reports on it when it's convenient for them to do so. So we tend to only hear massive reporting when there is a political gain to be had.

@VietnamEraVet @prambo - I just don't get it. If ever there was a group that should have gotten a clue somewhere along the way, this is it. Fiercely tribal, always skeptical, why do they not believe in the right to defend themselves? It defies logic.
Maybe it is seriously past the time when everyday Americans start to understand that they need to do what is needed to survive and stop counting on others.

It’s literally, as per the constitution and numerous higher court decisions that the police are not your personal bodyguards, even in extreme instances such as restraining orders. Problem is most liberals live in some “not so far off utopia” and not the real world, and most don’t know the law.

There are too many social media outlets where a person can freely vent their anger,frustrations and opinions. They get rev'd up to a certain point and then decide to carry out their bs agenda. I could care less about twitter/facebook and the rest of the social crap. This is the only forum/site I contribute on and if or when it turns into a hate site...I'm out.

Too many in this country allow themselves to be the victim. Not paying attention to to the world around is a big part of this. Pay attention to what and who is around. Know a way out. No of a place to hide in order to stay safe, control your emotions so thoughts can be clear.
