I have too many kayaks and therefore never use this one. I bought it because it’s a hybrid fishing/recreational kayak. The seat is the neat part of this. The seat is like a short old fashioned lawn chair that sits in various different molded plastic grooves. The last groove puts you up about 2” so you are sitting higher and can fish with more leverage. I thought my son would like kayak fishing but he hates it and after 4-5 years of friends saying they would accompany me and no one ever does I’m selling it.
I honestly think I’ve used it less than 5 times and is in as new condition. I never drag my kayaks on the ground or gravel and it was 100% stored inside so no UV damage either. Knew they were around $1,100 but I paid $750 or $799 for it since I bought it the last year they made them. Biggest problem with it was the place I bought it from stored it under a pine tree so there is some sap on it and maybe a few scuff marks but no scratches.
I want $500 for it and I’m firm on that. The prices have only gone way up on these since I bought it and this is the equivalent model to the Jackson Tupelo and Jackson makes a high quality kayak. The kayak is 12 feet long and weighs just over 50 lbs so it is very manageable. I have replaced mine with Hurricane Santee kayaks that are lighter for my wife and I so that’s why I don’t use this one.

As with the ladder I won’t be shipping this because of size and cost. It’s a good deal so if someone really wanted it shipped it could be investigated but probably not worth it and you could find quality kayaks locally on marketplace. I have a truck and can meet you somewhere or deliver it. I’m in the Buffalo area so reasonable distance or a small fee will be added for gas and time. I can deliver it if you don’t have a truck or roof top kayak system at this point. If you want to try it on the water that’s fine with me but it must be daylight hours and you must wear a life jacket.
Any questions let me know.
