Last year hundreds of Donald Trump supporters were attacked in San Jose California as the local law enforcement stood back and watched. Many attendees and victims stated the police actually facilitated the attacks by funneling the rally crowd directly into the path of an unchecked mob. Last week a judge approved the class action lawsuit
SAN JOSE (KCBS) – A federal judge is giving Donald Trump supporters the green light to pursue their lawsuit against the city of San Jose. The plaintiffs accuse the city for not protecting them during a campaign rally last year.

The Trump supporters in this case claim that San Jose police officers intentionally steered them into an angry mob of protesters, following a Trump campaign rally last June. (read more)

Agree 100%. Plaintiffs may not win anything but I think it's great they are using the same tactics against the left.

While I respect their Right to sue, this is another lawsuit that is only going to waste the time of the courts.

They have zero guarantee to be safe at these events. It is not the job of the Police to protect each and every person that goes to a rally.

I do think this is an awesome idea though, play by the same rules as the Liberals do. Hell, it may work out in the end for those who were hurt.

Some of the actions of the Police in a couple videos I saw, was pretty weak and cowardly.



Police did nothing for this girl. All they had to do was open the door\. At the start of the longer video, she was egging them on. Once she was attacked, the Police should have opened the door. They just stood and watched as she was physically attacked.

The Mayor. San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo is a party Democrat who held a campaign event last week for Hillary Clinton. In responding to the brutality last night he blamed Donald Trump and his supporters for not accepting the beatings with more appreciation:

(via AP) The mayor, a Democrat and Hillary Clinton supporter, criticized Trump for coming to cities and igniting problems that local police departments had to deal with.

“At some point Donald Trump needs to take responsibility for the irresponsible behavior of his campaign,” Liccardo said.

Mr. Liccardo was not on hand to greet republican candidate Donald Trump. Exactly the opposite, Mr. Liccardo told his police chief, Garcia, to ensure that candidate Trump found an inhospitable venue.

Police Chief Eddie Garcia did exactly what he was instructed.

Were orders sent out for the police to stand down and just watch the beat downs on the less favored political party ?
