The judge who struck down a Trump administration crackdown on sanctuary cities is a hard-core Democrat activist whose life has been steeped in liberal politics since childhood.

Judge William Orrick III, 63, who on Tuesday blocked the administration from withholding federal funds from cities that don't cooperate with federal immigration officials, attended the landmark 1968 Democratic National Convention as a teen and more recently raised money for 2004 presidential candidate John Kerry.

“I will not let my personal views interfere with the administration of justice," Orrick assured lawmakers in 2013, when he was confirmed as a federal judge on the District of Northern California. "I have never let my political beliefs affect my legal judgment, and believe that politics have no place in the courtroom.”

On Tuesday, in a suit brought by San Francisco and Santa Clara, Calif., Orrick blocked President Trump's executive order withholding funding from sanctuary cities, saying the president lacked the authority to attach new conditions to federal spending.

But Orrick's latest ruling, which Trump blasted as a case of "judge shopping" in a Wednesday tweet, and a prior ruling granting Planned Parenthood an injunction barring the Center for Medical Progress from releasing damning undercover videotapes of the abortion provider's employees and contractors, have raised questions about his impartiality.

This is what I want to see done. To hell with threats about taking away money. Charge every single politician that supports sancuary policies as accessories to the crimes these foreign invaders commit. Round up the mayor and the city council perp walk them, maybe then we will see some real change.

The charge of aiding and abetting can be brought against anyone who directly helps someone else in the commission of a crime, even if they do not participate in the actual crime itself. Specifically, a person is guilty of aiding and abetting if he willfully "aids, abets, counsels, commands, induces or procures" the commission of a crime.


Unlike the crime of accessory, in which someone aids another person who commits a criminal act, the crime of aiding abetting also includes anyone who willfully gets someone else to commit a crime on their behalf.


ALL of these Politicians in these cities can be charged with these crimes. This is what I want the Justice Department to charge. Charge each and everyone of them.

I researched a bit, I do not see where he actually broke the law. Granted, if appealed, he will indeed be reversed. I just don't know what laws he has broken.

This judge knows he made the wrong decision.
He went through the arguments and searched for a way he could impose his political beliefs. Just like the crook judge in the "Muslim Ban" case, this judge sighted things Trump said during his campaign to justify his decision.
Its well known that what a politician says during a campaign id rhetoric and cant be held against them legally. Holy crap!! Can you imagine if they could be held accountable in court for political rhetoric?? We would literally have ZERO politicians.

If not by breaking the law, this guy needs to be held accountable for KNOWINGLY making an unconstitutional decision just to gain a bit more time for the illegals to commit crimes.

An officer cannot arrest someone just because she feels like it or has a vague hunch that someone might be a criminal. Police officers have to be able to justify their arrest usually by showing some tangible evidence that led them to probable cause.

I would take it a bit further, and certainly down an avenue they couldn't escape from!

Let's say, someone, one of these, undocumented aliens, who was harbored in a sanctuary city, and protected by a judges order, enabled by a LE agency that ignored the law... Was found to be a terrorist and guilty of committing a crime here. Wouldn't then they all be aiding and lending support to terrorist or terrorist organizations? They would be able to be taken, held, absent due process, no right to counsel, no notification requirement and could be held indefinitely!

All perfectly LEGAL!

Just one, all it would take is one... Then an example could be made and you'd see all these progressives fold like a cheap house of cards!
