I believe those H&R receiver could be used on other rifle calibers

So why does this need an FFL? It's a muzzleloader. I was tempted but not if there's going to be a transfer/NICS charge.

It's just more money and hassle that tips the scale for me to 'not worth it'. Not to mention that it's bullshit infringement that pisses me off. Last I knew muzzle loaders were exempt from that shit. What's changed?

Some H & R’s can be converted to center fire rifles. I have found the receipt for this one and it was sold as muzzleloader. So no FFL needed.
