This should be little to no surprise. Gun rights mean nothing to anyone who is not a gun person. Justices, Politicians or the American people. This is a nothing issue to the vast majority of people in America, all walks of life and professions.

If such a strongly worded and clear protection in the constitution can be eliminated by just pretending it does not exist, than so can the protections that you do care about.

As disappointing as it is I would rather a good 2A case not be heard if it is likely doomed from the start. A loss would be worse. Their may be 4 who would come down on our side but if you can only be sure of 4 ( and that’s questionable) Robert’s isn’t someone I would count on being the 5th. One or more of the 4 going for the punt doesn’t mean they wouldn’t of come down on the right side if the reality was a little different. With that said elections have consequences and when Upstate often has poor turnout and gun owners continue to ignorantly vote against themselves this will just continue.

It’s sad that SCOTUS “Judges” are like sheep and vote their Political ideologies, before doing their appointed Judicial duty and make decisions based on the US Constitution...

And there lies the problem. The court system is rigged and corrupt because something constitutional is not supposed to be voted against. There is no sides or feelings or public safety supposed to be involved in this. Either it’s constitutional based on the words of the constitution or it isn’t.
