A Kestrel is basically a hand held weather station the size of a cell phone, and a whole lot more. There is a brand new model- the Kestrel 5700 Sportsman w/LINK and ballistic program. Price? $399. It pairs to your phone via Bluetooth. You input your rifle and cartridge info into the Kestrel. It knows your exact location, so knows your altitude (elevation in feet above sea level), and constantly monitors air temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, and wind speed and direction, and relays that info to your phone, where the Kestrel Link app (available for Android in the Google Play store) displays the scope elevation and windage adjustments needed to hit your target, at your exact location, in real time, once you input range to target info. It allows you to input single, or up to 8 multiple targets at once, once the ranges are input. Want faster? Bushnell makes LINK compatible rangefinder. Want fastest? There are LINK compatible scopes available. The future is here for almost 'can't miss' long range shooting.
Edit: You can also pair a Kestrel with your phone and the Hornady ballistics app
