Let's try to come up with more reasons for people to not get the help they need. It sounds like this person found help before things got too bad for him. Now he has to suffer for it.

Unless you have ever been arrested as a teen or because your spouse says you called her a name. Or if you ever went to a psychologist for something. Or if you confessed something to a priest or if you need more than ten boolits to kiw a deeeeahh! Or because you weren't specific enough when specifying a reason you "wanted" a gun on NY Pistol Permit
Not to mention the other reasons.
