I have A seriously leaded S&W Victory barrel any thoughts on how to remove it

Get a copper Chore Boy scouring pad. Pull a few strands off and wrap around your bore brush and go to town after letting some solvent soak for a while.

Let the barrel soak in Kroil. Then use a bore brush.

heat it up to 621.4°F and watch it flow out the barrel .. flush with Hopps's #9

Why remove it? Are your groups opening up? I never clean a .22 barrel with anything but a lubed patch unless my groups are getting bad.

think I'll try the chore boy rout this barrel was so fouled I couldn't get a cleaning rod down the barrel but it still shoots pretty well

I've done the chore boy on an old .22, it works like a champ.
