Thats 14 million HUNTERS that know how to shoot. The FOURTEEN MILLION licensed Big game hunters represent the LARGEST STANDING ARMY ON THE PLANET. Actually, that 14 million hunters is larger than the five largest standing armies on the planet, combined INCLUDING CHINA.

One Marine or Army division can take out every hunter or gun owner here assuming there were no rules of engagement and they are let loose.
Hunters, CCW'ers, 3 gun guys, ect don't know how to operate as a team. They would get slaughtered.

There is no doubt that the biggest single tactic leading to a victory is knowing how to work as a team, but I don't know that I agree with the statement because the sheer number of gun owners is astounding. Not to mention many of them do have some formal training and would know how to work as a team, in addition to all the veterans that are now private citizens.

Many, if not most gun owners I know arent in the shape or mindset to do anything in this situation.
I recently got in a slight argument about hunting in the rain.
Guy told me you cant bring a gun out in the rain or it will get ruined. He isnt joining the fight, especially if its drizzling.
