I watched the first season of Girls. Don't know if any of you watched the show but it is the most vapid, disgusting, soul crushing, head-bashing thing masquerading as entertainment I have ever seen. Supposedly it's supposed to be this paragon of feminisim and Millenial angst. I'm a Millenial and I hated it. First off all the girls on the show are hideous (Dunham especially...but even Brian "I've never told a lie" Williams's daughter). The sex scenes gave me dry heaves. And the message of the story was...well I don't really know other than maybe it's ok to choose to live off your parent's dime and have a good time in New York City while having casual sex, wearing your STD infection like a badge of honor and lamenting the fact that you're not making any money when you have no marketable skills? Normally I dislike SNL and their leftist propaganda, but they did do a pretty good spoof of the show.
