WTB Lever Action 357

Interested in buying a lever action 357. If anyone has something sitting around that they want to get rid of or just not being used, please just reach out to me.

I’m in the Western Ulster County area just below Kingston Ny But willing to To deal with anything from the Long Island up to Greene county.

I will definitely respond back to any offer.
But please no Rossi models as I have one and it’s no better than a boat anchor.

Looking at a Henry as a last resort. No rush. Figured I’d put out a feeler and see what shows up.

I don’t have a marlin 41 mag. Been looking for one of those for a while myself.
I have owned a Smith and Wesson model 57 in stainless 8-3/8 inch barrel since 1983. I loaded for the 41 magnum for years it took many dear with it. Always thought about pairing it up with a good carbine.

The quality levers are pricey. Ruger has started to release the new Marlins so might be best to keep your powder dry and weight a bit longer for one of those! Reports are the quality, fit and finish are great.

I was looking at it to compliment my 686. I have a 1979 JM Marlin 1894 in 44. That's what caused me to get a 629

Not looking to sell it but I have a 1894c in .357, its been a safe queen but not letting her go. Glad it’s worth something and desirable. Sorry to interrupt your post.

I don’t believe in safe Queens or garage queens. I want to enjoy things while I can. Life can be short and I came close to a few times cutting it even shorter.
So I will enjoy everything I have and hopefully pass onto my kids who will continue to enjoy when I’m no longer around.

I just lived by one rule I never sell what I buy. I still own my original car that I bought back in 1976 And every firearm that I’ve ever purchased since then.
