Loading for the M1 GARAND

I am loading ammo up for my M1 GARAND, I have 150 grain projectiles I am useing.
What is the reccomend maximum pressure (fps) for these guns.
I read something about it a few years ago and can't find that article.
I am loading just target shooting ammo so no need to go to hot with the pressure.

50,000 psi is where the Garand was designed to operate.

For 200 yards and below I use a Sierra 125 grain bullet over 47.5 grains of IMR 4895.

I will have to pick.up some IMR 4895, I loaded up thirty cartridges with some varget powder.
I will look at the books and see what the psi is in these and keep it under the 50,000 mark.

I looked at the stuff on the camp forum.
I bought this M1 GARAND about 35 years ago. I,d like to find someone to tear it down and to a nice deep cleaning to it.

Lighter recoil, generally softer shooting that M2 ball ammo. Groups well and can shoot it all day.
