Hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving.
My father passed away 2 years ago, and the year before that, my mother passed away. As the holidays have a habit of doing, it's a time when we look around and notice that our loved ones are no longer here, at least in body. Anyway...
As I was thinking about my dad, I remembered the gun club that he belonged to in the 1980's. It was called the Flushing Rod and Gun Club, I think it was up in Pawling? I know it no longer exists. But I remember going up there with my dad to bow hunt and participate in some casual competitions during the year. I was too young to be a member, but I got along great with the guys, and they were of all ages. Even though it's nice to go to a public range, I miss that sense of camaraderie of being part of a club, so I figured I would put the feelers out to see if any of you could help me out.
Does anyone know of any clubs up maybe around Brewster?
Thanks for your help.
