I stopped at 2 minutes. These wannabe Tier One Operators are something else.
1. No profesional unit would ever teach their students to draw their pistol light to check their rifle. Any fool can see why that is a bad idea.
2. No professional military unit will ever go into a dwelling with lights on to see what is going on. None.
3. If under fire, no professional unit would ever tell their students to stop what they are doing and shine a light at their rifle to see what is going on. Tap, rack, bang is taught. If that doesn’t work, you take your gun out of the fight and transition to a pistol.
4. None of us are Tier One Operators that will wake up in the bump of night and be ready in seconds with a slung rifle and a drop leg holster.
5. If you do hear a bump in the night, who keeps their house in total darkness with no kitchen lights or nightlights in the hallway where you have to rely on a weapon light to see. If you do, you are a fool.

So much so that you didnt watch the video and already concluded that no one uses the techniques that you didnt even watch to see what they were and made up your own conclusions but then again Will knows more than professionals..
Why havent you started your own training company. You clearly would kick ass since you are better and more knowledgeable than the most knowledgeable people currently out there

I gotta go with MC on this if for no other reason using a white light to clear your weapon will destroy your night vision for a half hour or more! Never been a door kicker but even I know "tap, rack, bang" very simple just tap the bottom of the mag to ensure it's seated, rack the charging handle and let it go under it's own force, and then smack the forward assist and fire .

I finally saw the rest of the video past where he used his pistol light to look into his chamber which would be ridiculous under fire and why I turned it off.
So now that I watched the whole thing, all he does is a lot of talking explaining 2 simple procedures. Tack, rack, bang. If that doesn’t work, pull the magazine out and try to pull the bolt to the rear and clear the chamber. What is he teaching us?
It’s pretty damned simply. Tap, rack, bang. If that doesn’t work, use your pistol. If you don’t have a pistol, remove the magazine and try to quickly clear the chamber. If you cannot, after it is all over, turn on the fucking lights And fix your rifle.
Shit. Maybe I should start posting videos on how to load magazines in low light.

I mean let's get past the fact that you are trying to implay he is saying pull handgun with weapon light to then look at chamber of rifle during a firefight (I'm guessing this is going back to you believing that you are the expert, and so push a narrative that the video is nonsense and that what you say is correct)
And we will say that what Aaron was demonstrating.
Rifle malfunctions.
Ditch rifle for side arm (similar to rifle runs out of ammo)
Work is complete (ie no more threat) reshoulder rifle (for right handers) with non firing hand and splash the chamber with handgun WML to diagnose the malfunction (its actuall exactly what one does during the day if there is a rifle malfunction and you have a side arm, ditch rifle get handgun go to work, when threat is neutralized holster, bring up rifle diagnose fix and continue)
Next on to what the video goes on to teach, again this is under low light no light conditions how to diagnose the most common malfunctions without visual input.
Anyone with any knowledge will know that tap rack wont do shit for a double feed, but Will is saying do that anyways. Tap rack bang works for a failure to firesure.. and we all know what one of those sounds like and feels like click no bang..
Well click no bang is different than dead trigger. But ok will was taught tap rack bang so, dead trigger let's tap rack oh no bang, ok well now we have to move on to the next issue..
But again this is all just fantasy stuff that a snake oil salesman is making up because it wasnt some basic grunts doctrine in the late 90s, no military on the world teaches anything but tap rack bangs, it's never dark out for people..

Under fire in low light and under stress, you wouldn’t know that you have a double feed so you do the tap, rack, bang. That’s why they teach it. And like I said, when that doesn’t work, you go to the next step of ejecting the magazine and clearing the chamber. To this day the Immediate Action is still taught. But you wouldn’t know that being that Navy never let you play with the M16.
You might not know but actual proficient shooters will.
And a dead trigger is completely different feeling than a click.
Also as mentioned the ability to manipulate the safety.

Lol never played with m16 yup probably not bud. And glad to hear your extra steps vs more streamlined efficient way. But since that's not what the taught you decades ago it must be wrong

What will those classes teach me? The new way to clear malfunctions? Please. All carbine courses do is give you a simulation of real world trigger time by shooting from behind barriers. It’s tailored for people like you who are new to the AR.
Really? Seeing as I try and get to classes when I have time and funds available. I actually know where I'm needing of improvement and can actually admit that I dont have all the skills I would like to have.
And you are correct you wont learn anything from an actual class because you believe you already know everything?

Edward, a proficient shooter wearing no hearing protection with bullets coming at him high on adrenaline with slight tunnel vision will not know if he has a double feed by feel or sound. That’s why tap rack bang is taught.
And I’m not saying that I wouldn’t learn anything In a carbine class. You always learn something and continue on your muscle memory. I might learn a better technique on how to shoot around a corner or perhaps a better way to clear a room if it’s a CQB class. That’s always a possibility. But your MO is that if something is questioned, that automatically means that you know more than them.
What I’m saying is that this particular video is useless. And you in turn turn it into he knows more than me. Perhaps. Perhaps not. But what he is saying is BS as far as using your gun light. And afterwards all he’s saying to do is what you would do in lit room. No difference. It’s a stupid video.
