Man interrogated for posting a joke/comment about police in China on social media

I'm assuming this is real, as Ezra is a well known guy in Canada. This interrogation goes exactly as one would expect an interrogation like this to go. Person plays dumb, then trips over themselves to apologize to some idiot bureaucrat.

As I have said before we are the only western country I'm aware of with a legal freedom of speech (any country with hate speech laws by definition does not have freedom of speech). It is by far the greatest right we have.

This is going to get so much worse. With China's new "Social Credit" system in place. NO ONE will be able to even joke about the Chinese Government.
Those violating the Chinese Social Credit system will have there internet access denied, they will not be able to travel, anywhere. Their cell phones will be turned off or confiscated.
The Chinese have over 600 million cameras watching every single person. And now, the Chinese have a developed a 500 Megapixel camera the will use for facial recognition.

China is already home to extensive facial recognition technology, using it to identify criminals, monitor students’ attention, and even let citizens purchase train tickets.Now, in an attempt to enrich its surveillance arsenal, reseachers from the country have developed a 500 megapixel facial recognition camera capable of capturing “thousands of faces at a stadium in perfect detail and generate their facial data for the cloud while locating a particular target in an instant.”
